Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have suffered another blow ahead of their c💛ampaign, withleg-spinner Asha Sobhana ruled out of the tournament due to an✱ injury.

RCB replace Asha Sobhana

Asha, who last played for India during the T20 World Cup in the UAE, sustained a knee injury after the toss in India’s final league game against Australia in Sharjah. The severity of the injury forced her to withdraw from the match, requiring the opposing captain’s approval for a replacement.

To fill the void, RCB have signed wicketkeeper-batter Nuzhat Parween as Sobhana’s replacement at her base price of ₹30 lakh.

RCB are grappling with the absence of several key overseas players. Sophie Molineux, who was the joint second-highest wicket-taker for the team last season alongside Asha, has been ruled out due to a knee injury sustained during the Women’s Ashes. Additionally, has withdrawn to focus on rehabilitation ahead of a demanding international season, while star opener Sophi🧸e Devine has taken a break from all domestic cricket.

RCB will kick off their WPL 2025✃ campaign against Gujarat Giants in Vadodara on February 14, aiming to𓆏 overcome these challenges and put up a strong title defense.
