Chetan Sharma also played a crucial role, picking up 2 w♎ickets in his economical 8-over spell, conceding just 28 runs.
India’s dominance secures Semifinal berth
India’s response was nothing short of spectacular. Openers Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Ayush Mhatre dismantled the UAE bowling attack with ease, chasing down the target of 138 in just 16.1 overs without losing a wicket. Mhatre’s all-around contribution earned him the Player of the Match award. Apart from his unbeaten half-century, he also chipped in with a vital wicket during UAE’s innings, underlining his value to the team.
