Injuries lead to notable absences
The squad will miss the services of three prominent players due to injuries. Fast bowler Mayank Yadav and all-rounder Shivam Dube were unavailable for selection, while Riyan Parag is currently undergoing rehabilitation 🎶for a chronic right shoulder💝 injury at the BCCI Centre of Excellence. The BCCI confirmed these absences in an official statement, emphasizing their commitment to player health and recovery.
“Mayank Yadav and Shivam Dube were unavailable for selection owing to injuries. Riyan Parag was unavailable for selection and is currently at The BCCI Centre of Excellence for long-term resolution of his chronic right shoulder injury,” stated BCCI.
