Karun Nair’s resurgent form

Nair striking the ball well in the Maharaja League 2024, can also be termed as🧔 the man in form scoring a ton of just 43 balls for his local franchise Mysore Warriors. His confidence is sky-high 🔜at the moment, as he believes he is batting better than ever before.

I feel like I’m batting as well as I’ve ever done. I am in a good head space, I know where my game is. I am just making sure if I get opportunities, wherever it may be, the focus is on making the most of those chances so that I can climb up the stairs again,” Nair stated in an interview with ESPNcricinfo.

Nair dreaming of a Test comeback

The dream of playing Test cricket again serves as Nair’s driving force. He wakes up every morning with the hope of finding a way back into the national team. The middle-order batter’s ambitions extend beyond individual glory, as he also aims to contribute to his team’s success.

A consistent performer

Nair’s recent form has been impressive, as he has consistently scored runs across different formats. In the Ranji Trophy, he scored 690 runs, leading Vidarbha to the final. In T20s, he played some fine knocks, including an unbeaten 95 off 52 balls that helped Vidarbha pull off their highest successful run-chase in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy versus Bengal.
