Kambli’s cricket career
Vinod Kambli, known for his close friendship with cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, significantly impacted the international cricket scene when he debuted for India in 1991. He was the first Indian batsman to score back-to-back double centuries in Test matches, achieving this feat against Zimbabwe and England 🥃in 1993,🌄 a moment that filled the nation with pride.
Overall, Kambli played 17 Tests, amassing 1,084 runs.
