It also ca♋ptured a humorous moment when a fan threw a shirt towards Hardik in excitement, leaving Bumrah in splits. The enti𝔉re team looked ecstatic as they posed with the World Cup Trophy on the team bus, one by one, making the crowd go wild.

Reception and victory parade
Before the celebrations in Mumbai, the team met PM Modi at his official residence, 7 Lok Kalyan Marg in New Delhi. After this breakfast-cum-meeting, the team headed to Mumbai, where they received a rousing welcome. The victory parade, moving from Marine Drive to Wankhede Stadium, brought Mumbai’s traffic to a standstill as fans thronged the streets to catch a glimpse of their heroes who brought the World Cup back to India.

The BCCI President Roger Binny, Vice-President Rajeev Shukla and Secretary Jay Shah felicitated the players with a cash reward of INR 125 crore in front of the massive crowd. This generous reward was announced by Jay after India c🌸lin🎃ched their second T20 World Cup title.
