Bangladesh falter despite Tohid Hridoy’s fifty
Bangladesh, after put in to bat first, were restricted to a score of 153/6 in their allotted 20 overs. Openers Litton Das (14) and Soumya Sarkar (20) provided a decent start, but the middle order failed to capitalize. The only bright spark was a well-composed 58 runs off 47 balls from Towhid Hridoy, studded with 4 fours and two maximums. The USA bowlers shared the spoils effectively, with Steven Taylor leading the attack with figure🐷s of 2/9 in his three overs.
USA chase down target in a tense finish
In reply, the USA innings got off to a shaky start as they lost their captain Monank Patel (12) cheaply. However, a crucial partnership between Steven Taylor (28) and Andries Gous (23) steadied the ship.ဣ Later, Harmeet Singh (33 not out off 13 balls) displayed some power hitting with three sixe♊s, taking the USA closer to the target.

Corey Anderson (34) also chipped in with a valuable knock before Mustafizur Rahman (2/41) took two wickets in an over to create some tension. Ultimately, Harmeet’s four runs sealed the win for the USA with three balls remaining.
