Rinku Singh’s exclusion
Rinku has showcased remarkable performance in international cricket, having played 15 matches for Team India. In these appearances, he has amassed a total of 356 runs, boasting an impressive average of 89 and a commendable strike rate of 176.23. Insights from Sunil Gavaskar
Veteran cricketer Sunil Gavaskar has offered insights into Rinku’s absence from the squad, linking it to his recent lackluster performance in the IPL. Gavaskar emphasized that Rinku didn’t receive ample opportunities to showcase his talent during the tournament, which may have influenced the selectors’ decision.
“Maybe his form in this particular edition of the IPL hasn’t been great. He hasn’t had that many opportunities (with KKR), maybe that’s the reason why they’ve (selectors) not picked him,” Gavaska🦩r was quoted as sayi♔ng by the Hindustan Times.
