The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the schedule for the much-anticipated tour of India by the South Africa Women’s cricket team. The tour, commencing in June 2024, will see the two teams battle it out across all three formats, offering a true test of cricketing prowess.
South Africa Women to play a warm-up game ahead of the ODI series
The series kicks off on June 13th with a one-day warm-up match between South Africa and the Board President’s XI in Bengaluru. This will be followed by a three-match ODI series, also scheduled in Bengaluru, starting on June 16th. All three ODIs will begin at 1:30 pm IST.
The action then shifts to Chennai, which will host the historic one-off Test match from June 28th to July 1st. This will be the first women’s Test match played in Chennai in a very long time, making it a highly anticipated event. The Test match will start at 9:30 am IST on all four days.
To conclude the tour, Chennai will once again play h😼ost to a three-match T20I seri💛es. The T20Is are scheduled for July 5th, 7th, and 9th, with all matches starting at 7:00 pm IST.
