The two Asian rivals alw🐬ays give fans memorable moments whenever they meet. Sometimes, they become the talk of the town for their heated moments, and sometimes, they flood the internet with comic incidents.
On the third day of the Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka second Test match, a similar incident took place. Bangladesh fielders got involved in a very bizarre incident in which five fielder💝s ran after the ball to save a boundary. Soon after this, cricket fans started trolling Bangladesh players for their act.
Never seen before on-field decision-making
This fielding blunder was seen in the 20th over of Sri Lanka’s second innings. At that time, Sri Lanka were 90 for 6 with just four wickets remaining in hand, hoping for cemented innings from Prabath Jayasuriya and Angelo Mathews.
When Bangladesh pacer Hasan Mahmud bowled the second ball of his over, Jayasuriya hit it in the gully region, triggering five fielders to run after the boll to prevent a boundary, which they ꦓeventually did only to give a couple 🍨of runs to the visitors.
