Jake Weatherald was t💯he standout performer for the Strikers, scoring a brilliant 56 runs off 32 balls, including 8 fours and 2 sixes.
Henry Thornton also contributed significantly with a quick 28 off 21 balls. However, the Scorchers’ bowlers put up a commendable effort, with Cooper Connolly leading the way by taking 2 wickets for just 17 runs in h💜is 3 ov🐲ers.

In response, the Perth Scorchers faced a challenging target but struggled to build partnerships. Sam Fanning‘s aggressive innings of 31 off 20 balls and Connolly’s 31 off 22 balls were the only notable contributions.
The Adelaide Strikers’ bowlers dominated the proceedings, with Lloyd Pope being the pick of the bunch, claiming an impressive 4 wickets for 24 runs in his 4 overs. Cameron Boyce and Matthew Short also chipped in wiꦜth crucial wickets. Ultimately, the Perth Scorchers were bowled out for 105 in 16.2 overs, falling short by 50 runs.
