Opting to bat first after winning the toss, the Scorchers posted a challenging total of 197/4 in their 20 overs. The standout performance for the Scorchers came from Laurie Evans, who played a scintillating innings of 72 runs off 34 deliveries, including 11 fours and 3 sixes. Cooper Connolly also made a significant contribution with a quickfire 37 off 18 balls. However, the Sixers’ bowling attack, led by Ben Dwarshuis, restricted the Scorchers with crucial wicke🥃ts.
