Chamari Athapaththu, known for her explosive batting style, extensive experience, and leadership qualities, will now don the UP Warriorz jersey in the WPL 2024. The 33-year-old Sri Lankan captain is recognized as one of the most powerful hitters in the women’s game, having played in over 120 T20Is. Notably, she stands as the only Sri Lankan woman to score a century in T20Is.
