In a surprising turn of events, England’s cricket star Harry Brook has returned home due to personal reasons, casting a shadow over the upcoming five-match Test series against India. “The England selectors will confirm a replacement player for the tour in due course,” the ECB statement added.

Harry Brook’s Test journey so far
Brook marked his entry into Test cricket in 2022 against South Africa, and his most recent appearance in England’s white jersey occurred at The Oval in July 2023 against Australia.
The 24-year-old cricketer has so ⭕far played 12 Tests, amassing a total ♛of 1181 runs at an impressive average of 61, including four ton and seven half-centuries.
During the 2023 Ashes series on home soil, the Yorkshire-born put up a commendable performaꦗnce, scoring 363 run🌜s in five Tests at an average of 40.33, with his highest score being 85.
