Tri-series featuring India, England & South Africa
The tri-series, set to commence on December 29, will include India, England and South Africa. The young talents will engage in intense competition, gaining valuable experience as they face off against formidable opponents. The tri-series final is scheduled for January 10, providing a🉐 platform for players to showcase their skills.
ICC Men’s U19 World Cup 2024
Following the tri-series, the India U19 team will shift focus to the ICC Men’s U-19 World Cup, taking place in South Africa. The World Cup is a highly anticipated event, with the opening fixture featuring Ireland and the USA. India, as the five-time champions and the winner of the last edition, will commence their campaign against Bangladesh in Bloemfontein on January 20.
Group assignments and Super six phase
India have been placed in Group A alongside Bangladesh, Ireland, and the USA. The top three teams from each group will advance to the Super Six phase, where the top four♔ teams will then qualify for the semi-finals. The culmination of the competition is set to take place on February 11, with the final scheduled at Willowmoore Park in Benoni, which will also serve as the venue for the two semi-final matches.
