The Pakistan Cricket Team‘s campaign in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 has been a rollercoaster ride. They started strong, securing victories in their first two matches against The Netherlands and Sri Lanka.

However, their momentum was disrupted when they faced off against their long-standing rivals, India followed by Australia and Afghanistan. Pakistan have lost three fixtures on the trot which has pu🅰t them in deep trouble.

Fierce dispute between two players and Babar Azam’s isolation

Meanwhile, several Pakistani journalists took to social media to hint at ongoing issues within the team. They have hinted at alleged conflicts and have made promises to disclose further information. Reportedly, there was a physical altercation involving two players, and the team has been grappling with increasing discord. Furthermore, there are suggestions that the team’s captain, Babar Azam, may be experie🌠ncing isolation from a faction of players.

PCB’s straightforward response

In response to the rumours circulating on social media about disputes within the team, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has addressed the situation. The supreme cricket body of Pakistan has unequivocally deꦫnied the allegations many soci⛎al media users put forth.

“The Pakistan Cricket Board strongly denies recent speculations about any internal discord in the national cricket team currently participating in the ICC World Cup 2023. Contrary to rumours circulated by a certain section of the media, the PCB unequivocally assures that the team is cohesive and there is no evidence to support these unsubstantiated claims.
