The , Australia’s premier women’s domestic 50-over cricket competition, kickstarted its 2023-24 edition on Friday, September 22, with an exciting double-header. The matches saw New South Wales (NSW) take on Queensland Fire at North Sydney Oval, while South Australia clashed with the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Meteors at Karen Rolton Oval.
This season, the WNCL follows a unique format, with two rounds played before the commencement of the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) Season 9 on Oct♓ober 19. The𝓡 WNCL will then resume its action in mid-December, keeping the excitement alive for cricket enthusiasts.
As in the previous edition, the WNCL 2023-24 edition will feature a total of 43 matches, with all seven participating tea🧜ms facing each other twice in the league stage. The top two teams from the league stage will advance to the final showdown, scheduled for February 24, 2024, whe🐈re they will compete for the prestigious WNCL championship.
