Chasing the daunting target, Afghanistan could only manage to score 245 runs before being bowled out in the 44th over. Ibrahim Zadran was the top scorer for Afghanistan, displaying an impressive innings of 75 runs off 74 balls. Rahmat Shah (33) and Hashmatullah Shahidi (51) also made valuable contributions.
Bangladeshi bowlers were able to maintain pressure throughout the innings, with Taskin Ahmed being the star performer, taking 4 wickets for 44 runs. Shoriful Islam (3 wickets for 36 runs) and Hasan Mahmud (1 wicket for 67 runs) also ෴played crucial roles.
