This privilege has been awarded to India, along with Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, based on their rankings in the T20I cricket format. The teams have been granted T20I status for the matches, adding to the excitement as they vie for the prestigious gold medal.
Under the leadership of Ruturaj Gaikwad, a second-string Indian men’s side will take the field in the Asian Games, as the primary squad will be occupied with the ICC World Cup 2023 commitments. The Men in Blue are determined to leave a mark and bring home glory for the nation in the Asian Games.
