Soon, a fan furiously asked why Uth🦩appa had not exhibited the s🎃ame affection for KKR despite playing six seasons for the franchise and questioned his loyalty towards the Kolkata-based franchise.
Uthappa has a soft corner for CSK and its management. He never misses a chance to show love towards MS Dhoni and coach Stephen Fleming.
“Bro, played one-two season with Chennai and sold his soul. I have never seen him supporting KKR like this,” wrote an angry KKR fan.
Uthappa responded brilliantly to the troll as he wrote, “Loyalty and Respect is a give and take my friend.”

The Karnataka stalwart also tweeted about the 💧backlash he received from other KKR fans for his previous post.
“I’m not surprised by the hate I’m receiving here for what has been MY experience. Peace and Love to you all!!,” tweeted Uthappa.

The right-handed batter represented several IPL franchises in his fifteen-year-long illustrious career. From 2014 to 2019, he was part of the Knight Riders squad. Uthappa won the Orange Cap in IPL 2014 and played an important role in KKR’s title triumph that year. But, after his poor show in the 2019 season, KKR released him, and he went on to play for Rajasthan Royals (RR) in 2020.
Next year, CSK bought Uthappa from the auction table to strengthen their middle-order. He൲ played crucial knocks in Qualifier 1 and the final to propel his team to victory. He retired from IPL after a💜 lacklustre performance in 2022.
