“It probably will nag at me for the rest of my life,” said Maxwell while doing 💎commentary for a Big Bash League (BBL) game on Fox Cricket.
Maxwell added he🏅 is using the disappointm💯ent from the injury to set himself up for the final few years of his career.
“It’s nice getting the opportunity to watch your teammates play, especially over there. I think they’ve got the squad that’s probably as good as I’ve seen go over to India since I’ve been watching Tests over there, anyway.
“I started looking forward, thinking I will make the best recovery possible – I’ll come back early, and be stronger than ever. I started using it as a motivation factor rather than ‘oh no, why has this happened to me?” said Maxi.
“I tried to turn it around and think how can I finish the back end of my career, be the fittest and healthiest and most motivated I have been?” the right-hander concluded.
