Australian superstar Glenn Maxwell etched his name in record books after a scintillating performance with the bat in the 56th Match of the ongoing ꧙Big Bash League (BBL) 2021-22 on Wednesday.
Maxwell led Melbourne Stars from the front against Hobart Hurricanes to smash the second-fastest century in the history of the exciting T20 competition. The right-handed batter lit up the Melbourne Cricket Ground after hitting a century✃ off just 41 deliveries.
Not only this, but Maxwell also created a record of the highest indiv𓂃idual🐲 score of BBL as he finished with an unbeaten 154 off just 64 deliveries, including 22 fours and 4 humungous sixes.

Apart from Maxwell, Stoinis also took Hurricanes’ bowlers to the cleaners, smashing an unbeaten 75 from just 31 balls with the help of 10 boundaries, including 6 sixes. Riding on Maxwell and Stoinis’ incredible batting effort, Stars managed to post the highest-ever team total (278/3) in BBL history and third overall in T20 cricket.
