Local hero Jason Holder took four wickets in successive balls du🍰ring a dramatic last over as West Indies thumped England in the fifth and final T20 international at the Kensington Oval on Sunday for a 3-2 series win.
Chasing 180, only James Vince got going for England with the bat as he scored 55 runs off 35 balls. Sam Billings also chipped in with 41 from 28 deliveries, but it did not prove enough as West Indies kept taking wickets at regular intervals. The Men in Maroon ultimately restricted the English side for 162, winning theℱ series decider by 17 runs.
Earlier, captain Kieron Pollard and Rovman Powell played unbeaten knocks of 41 and 35 to help West Indies post 179/4 in their stipulated 20 overs. For England, Adil Rashid and Liam Livingstone returned with two wickets each.
Brief Scores: West Indies 179/4 (Kieron Pollard 41*) beat England 162 all out (James Vince 55, Sam Billings 41; Jason Hold꧋er 5-27, Akeal Hos𒁃sain 4-30) by 17 runs

Jason Holder not only takes the first ever hattrick by༺ a West Indian in T20 Internationals, but just for an exclamation mark, takes FOUR IN FOUR to earn West Indies a 🦹3-2 series win over England. Scenes in Bridgetown!

Jason Holder is a superstar, double hatt꧙rickඣ to seal the series. Match winner across formats, was a travelling reserve first and then was slotted in the T20 squad for World Cup. Underrated.

To the old British lady who mocked my JASON HOLDER chant at Kensington Oval yesterday – That 4 wickets in 4 balls from JASON HOLDER is for you. Enjoy that as much as you enjoy losing the series 3-2. Hold for that. Top class , well deserved 👌🏼
