In the wake of coronavirus pandemic, many states in India have lifted the lockdown and citizens have started stepping out off their homes. However, people are advised to follow all the protocols, due to which social distancing and use of masks have become the new normal these days. Indian cricketer Shreyas Iyer decided to cash this opportunity as he met Virat Kohli.
Iyer, who lives merely 500 metres away from the Indian captain, took homemade ‘Neer Dosas’ for Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma. The Delhi-born cricketer appreciated the efforts Iyer’s mother put on in making the dosas in his latest social media post. Kohli also gave mushroom biryani as a return gift to Iyer.
“A kind neighbour who lives 500 m away from us brought us some homemade neer dosas and made us smile. A big Thank you to your mom amigo we haven’t had such delicious dosas for a longgg time. Hope you enjoyed the mushroom biriyani we sent back. Smiling face with open mouth Good man. @ShreyasIyer15 “tweeted Kohli.

Kohli shared the news on his Instagram account as well, which received numerous responses. However, one comment grabbed all the limelight, and it came from none other than Yuzvendra Chahal.
The Jind-born leg-spinner funnily asked his Ro💟yal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper to send Biryani for him as well.
“Bhaiya please send some biryani here only 1400 km away @virat.kohli,” replied Chahal on Kohli’s Instagram post.
Kohli has been quite active on social media ever since the pandemic hit the world. He recently shared his workout video. Kohli was seen doing fly push-ups in that vid🥃eo. Apart from interacting with f🥂ans, the 31-year-old has been spending time with his better half during this period.
