Speaking about Starc, he hasn’t played IPL since 2015. The New South Wales cricketer was scheduled to make his comeback in IPL 2018 after being bought by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for Rs 9.6 crore, but an injury during the South Africa Test series ruled him out of the lucrative league.
The 30-year-old paceman has only played two IPL seasons in which he has bagged 34 wickets. Starc has been away from competitive cricket since mid-March due to the global pandemic. He last took part in an international fixture in the ODI held between Australia and New Zealand, on M🗹arch 13 in Sydney behind closed doors.
