“A sequel has been long crossing his mind and there were thoughts of coming up with𒅌 something at some point of time but given what happened today, everything is now meꦡaningless,” said Pandey told ABP News.
Sushant put in the h🌠ard yards to pull off one of the most challenging roles undertaken by a Bollywo൲od actor. Director Neeraj Pandey finalised Sushant for the coveted role in just 20 minutes of meeting him.
The movie turned out to be a blockbuster at the box🍎 office and brought stardom to the young actor fromꦑ the television background.
“I am absolutely shocked. I am at 🌌a total loss of words. He was a very cheerful person and we spent almost 100 days at a stre💦tch together and during the time we became very close,” he added.
To ace the role of the Indian cricketing icon, Rajput had to undergo almost one year of training, along with the likes of Kiran More.
“Sushant used to practice u🍷nder the watchful eyes of former cricketer Kiran More who💛 taught him how to keep wickets, which was very essential to play the role of Mahi,” he added.
While practising, Sushant suffered a gruesome injury in the form of a crack on the backbone. But, with the actor’s determination, he recuperated in record-time to impress D♛honi.
“I still remember that Sushant had a bad side strain during practice and even there was a crack in his backbone.♔ But he was confident, worked hard in rehabilitation and recovered within a week. Even Mahi was impressed to see his dedication to work,” Pande🐼y recalled.
