Kerala pacer, Santhakumaran Sreesanth, continuing with the ongoing trend, has picked his all-time ODI XI, joining thꦬe bandwagon.
Sreesanth was earmarked to be the next big thing for Indian cricket, since making his debut in 2005. The talented seamer proved to be quite a good luck charm for India, as he was part of playing XI during India’s win in the finals of 2011 ODI World Cup and 2007 T20 World Cup.
In fact, it was Sreesanth who held onto the catch of Misbah-ul-Haq, which was the last Paki🧜stani wicket in the high-octane finals at Johannesburg in 2007 T20 showpiece🐟 event.
It was aဣll going well for the pacer before the spot🐟-fixing accusations started to surface in 2013, during his stint with Rajasthan Royals (RR).
After the life-ban lifted on the out of favour’ pacer, Sree remained optimistic for his chances to don the national colours again.
In his all-time ODI XI, Sree went ahead with the iconic openers for In🎃dia, Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly.
💝Their opening stand tally remains on top of the table, despite the two retiring ♒from the game years back. Also, Sreesanth named Ganguly as the captain of the side.
West Indies’ batting wizard Brian Lara is slotted in at number three, while Indian captain Virat Kohli walks in at number four.
Perhaps the greatest all-rounder to grace the game of cricket, South African legend Jacques Kallis features at number six, followed by fellow cou꧃nt♏ryman AB De Villiers at five.
Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni are the finishers in Sreesanth’s batting lineup. While bowling greats Shane Warne, Allan Donald and Glenn Mcgrath bolster the bowling attack. The 36-year old named himself as the 12th man in the side.
