Virat Kohli reveals an important lesson he learnt during the quarantine period

As all the cricketing events are suspended indefinitely due to coronavirus pandemic, cricketers across the globe are passing the time at home with their loved ones. According to Virat Kohli, the only positive from this crisis is that people have beco🍃me a bit more compassionate

“The one positive out of this crisis that we, as a society, have become more compassionate. We are showing more gratitude to the frontline workers in this war, be it police personnel, doctors or nurses. I hope it stays this way even after we overcome this crisis,” said the Indian captain during an online class organised by Unacademy.

With wife Anushka Sharma seated𝕴 next to him, Virat spoke about an important lesson he learnt during the quarantine period.

“Life is unpredictable. So, do what makes you happy and not get into comparisons all the time. People have a choice now on how to come out of this phase. Life is going to be different after this,” the 31-year-old said.

For Anushka, the pandemic has forced people to care about the basics of life. “There is a learning in all of this. Nothing happens without a reason. If the frontline workers were not there, we would not have access to basics,” she said.

“This has taught us that no one is special than the other. Health is everything. We are more connected as a society now,” the model-turned-actress added.

Virat and Anushka have regularly b🧔een posting pictures and videos spreading awareness about coronavirus and urging people to follow the lockdown rules by staying at home.

The couple themselves are maintaining social distance by staying in their lavish apartment in Mumbai. They have𓂃 also been posting pictures of the different kind of activities that they have been doing indoors.

Their most recent post was a video in which they condemned the rising cases of domestic violence during the lockdown. The video also features Virat’s teammate Rohit Sharma and women’s ODI team captain Mithali Raj among other Bollywood celebrities.

“If you have been a victim, witness or a survivor of the domestic violence, please report,” Virat captioned the video. The video was also shared by Anushka.
