March 31 of 2016 will forever be etched as one of the most heart-breaking days for an ardent Indian cricket, as hosts India crashed out of the 2016 T20 World Cup꧑.
West Indies defeat🐻ed India, breaking a billion hearts, after chasing a 𒀰steep target at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
To add salt to the wound, one of the Aus🦹tralian journalists asked Indian captain, MS Dhoni, about his retirement plans in the post-match conference.
Living by his Captain Cool reputation, Dhoni💯 asked 🅠the journalist to sit beside him so that he could shoot a few questions at the reporter. “Let’s have some fun,” Dhoni said during the press conference.
First up, the Ranchi-born asked whether his fitness is go🐭od enough 🙈for the international level.
Dhoni, during his conversation with the journalist, conceded that he could not ask a specific question due to his na🧸tionality.
The former Indian captain int🐻ended to ask the hapless reporter whether he has any wicket-keeper batsman in knowledge 💟who can play for the country, had he been an Indian.
In the end, Dhoni asked the journalists whether he can plaꦅy until the next World Cup. To which the journalist replied affirmatively. “You’ve answered your question then,” Dhoni stated with a huge grin on his face.
It has been four years since the incident and yet remained one of the golden moments of MSD’s career. Interestingly, there still looms a question mark regarding hi𝓡s retirement from the international stage.
