“Team India is now Team Mask Force” the BCCI shared the video on its social media accounts requesting people to download Aarogya Setu mobile application.
In a Government of India campaign as many as 10 Indian 🃏men and women cricketers can be seen motivating their fans and urging the people of India to join hands in🤡 the battle against COVID-19 pandemic.
The highlight of the video is the self-designed masks and the prints on them, which depicts eit🌳her the nicknames or the special traits of the cricketers.
Virat Kohli wears a mask with letter ‘V’ inscribed on it, Sourav Ganguly had ‘Dada’ written over his mask, while Rahul Dravid’s mask has a ‘wall’ imprinted on it.
The video starts with captain Kohli informing people about the ‘Team Mask force’, Ganguly comes next and says that the ‘force’ will be like the other task forces formed by PM Narendra Modi to combat the coronavirus.
Smriti Mandhana chips in next and says that 130 crore Indians have to form a ‘mask force at their home’. Rohit Sharma follows Mandhana and says, “It’s very easy to be the part of mask force, you just have to make a mask for yourself at him, just like I have made myself one.”
Harbhajan Singh then shows his mask which has a picture of a ‘turban’ painted over it. Harmanpreet Kaur follows Bhajji and her mask has a picture of a bat with wings on it.
“We have to wear these masks every time we are outside our house,” says Rahul Dravid, who has a ‘wall’ printed on his mask. Next comes Virender Sehwag, who shows his mask with a ‘mike’ on it.
Mithali Raj then joins the team and says, “a mask can be made using a clean cotton cloth and you can design it the way you like, isn’t it good?”
The Aarogya Setu awareness video ends with Sachin Tendulkar wearing his ‘number 10’ marked mask and requesting people to join the ‘mask force’.
