Islamabad United uses Jasprit Bumrah’s no-ball image to spread COVID-19 awareness, Indian fans gives fitting replies

Amid the lockdown in Pakistan due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Islamabad United used an image of Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah’s no-ball in the 2017 Champions Trophy final against Pakistan to spread awareness among their citizens to not step out of their house.

“Don’t cross the line. It can be costly, Don’t leave your homes unnecessarily, MAINTAIN PHYSICAL DISTANCE but make sure your hearts remain close. #UnitedAgainstCovid19.” tweeted Islamabad United.

An Indian fan took offense to the tweet and came up with a befitting reply to the PSL franchise. He posted a picture of Mohammed Amir’s infamous no-ball in the Lord’s Test against England in 2010. The Twitterati uploaded the image with the caption saying that everyone should stay inside and stay safe or they could face five years of prison.

Also, one of the Twitter users took a dig at Pakistan’s failure to cross the line against India in World Cup matches.

Bumrah is, however, yet to comment on the tweet. The 26-year-old Indian pacer had earlier reacted to Jaipur Police when the organization had used the no-ball image as a warning to avoid breaking traffic rules. “This shows how much respect you get after giving your best for the country,” Bumrah had said back then, reacting to Jaipur police using his no-ball image from the Champions Trophy.
