Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Chennai Super Kings took a sly dig at cricketer turned commentator Sanjay Manjrekar on Twitter after his axing from the BCCI’s commentary pannel.
Last year, Manjrekar was under a lot of scanners for calling Ravindra Jadeja a ‘bits and pieces’ cricketer. Manjrekar’s comment did not go down with Jadeja and the Indian team all-rounder took to Twitter to lambast him, saying that he has had enough of his ‘verbal diarrhea’.
Manjrekar soon found himself in another controversy when he got engage📖d in a heated argument with fellow commentator Harsha Bhogle, where he taunted the latter for his non-cricketing background.
Jadeja is a core part of the CSK unit from quite a few time and the franchise didn’t waste a minute to take a dig at Manjrekar. CSK tweeted: “Need not hear the audio feed in bits and pieces anymore.”
Need not hear the audio fꦜeed in bits and pie🅠ces anymore. 🦁💛

Manjrekar’s sacking from the BCCI panel means he will not feature in this year’s IPL as well, which is currently suspended till April 15 due to coronavirus threat.
According to Mumbai Mirror, Manjrekar was not present in Dharamsala during the first ODI of the India-South Africa series, which was eventually washed out without a ball being bowled. Manjrekar’s absence was stark as other commentators like Sunil Gavaskar, VVS Laxman, L Sivaramakrishnan and Murali Kartik were present at the venue.
