Iqbal surpassed his record of 144 against Zi✤mbabwe at Bulawayo back in 2009. The talismanic Bangladeshi southpaw also brought up his 7000th run in ODI cricket. He is the now only batsman to achieve this feat for Bangladesh.

Iqbal smashed twenty boundaries and three maximums during his special knock. Much had been talked about the southpaw’s lean patch at the international level lately. Before this knock, the last time Iqbal brought up three figures mark was back in July 2018.
The run-drought for the veteran ended with his daddy hundred as Bangladesh posted a mammoth 322 on the board for the loss of 8 wickets in 50 overs. Mushfiqur Rahim (50) and Mahmudullah (41) gave support to the left-hander before Mohammad Mithun ꦓprovided the fina♊l flourish for the Bangla Tigers.
Interestingly, out of the top 10 highest scores for Bangladesh in ODI cr🃏icket, six have now been registered by Tamim. Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah, Shakib al Hasan, and Imrul Kayes are the other batsmen in the decorated list.
