An all-round dominant disp🔯lay by Australia helped them clinch the series-decider at Newlands by 97 runs, on Wednesday (February 26), against South Africa and seal the series win 2-1.
Opener David Warner (57 off 37) and sk💟ipper Aaron Finch (55 off 37) piloted Australia to a commanding 193/5 before leg-spinner A🌜dam Zampa took two stunning outfield catches and registered figures of 2/10 from three overs.
The Proteas never came close to threatening the Aussies, losing captain Quinton de Kock in the very first over — cleaned up again by Mitchell Starc – before capitulating to all out for 96 inside 16 overs.
Brief Scores: Australia 193/5 in 20 overs (David Warner 57, Aaron Fi𒊎nch 55; Tabraiz Shamsi 1-25) be✨at South Africa 96 in 15.3 overs (Rassie van der Dussen 24, Heinrich Klaasen 22; Ashton Agar 3-16, Mitchell Starc 3-23) by 97 runs.
Here’s how Twitter reacted:

This loss calls for our batting lineup to be restructured expeditiously! We’ve lost every singl♍e series that we played this summer, all because our batsmen suck except for Quinny. 💔🤦🏾♂️

The Proteas were proper thrashed in the T20I series, 🔥despite the win in PE. Losing hy 107 runs in the first and by 97 tonight𝐆 is shambolic. Spin once again the undoing and no Quinton de Kock, no party. Congratulations to Australia on the series win.

Australian bowlers dismissed South Africa under 100 twice in 3 games. Lot to worry, if there is nothing from QDK then the match is gone. They need to look to ch👍ange that before the next T20 series in June against Sri Lan☂ka.
