India defeated Sri Lanka by 78 runs in the third and final T20I at the MCA Stadium in Pune, to cl🍒inch the three-match series 🍃2-0.
Navdeep Saini claimed three wickets while Washington Sundar and Shard🌟ul Thakur picked up two wickets apiece to bundle out Sri Lanka for just 123 in 15.5 overs.
Jasprit Bu𓃲mrah, who picked up a wicket in the first over, became the leading wicket-taker in the shortest format for India, going past Ravichandran Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal.
Earlier, India posted a mammoth total of 201 for six after Shikhar Dhawan, and KL Rahul laid the foundation with a 97-run opening partnership. Late flourish Manish Pandey (31 off 19) and Shardul (22 off 8) helped India to a mammoth total on a baജtting-friendly surface.

Shardul Thakur is making most of the limited opportunities coming his way. Some crucial runs. Wickets. And while there’s a lot of cricket left today, I’m already picking him as my Man of the Match…i.e. if India wins.

Dhananjaya de Silva sparkled with a fine half-century, but that couldn't keep India from securing a crushing 78-run win. The home team's fast bowlers were too good! They take the series 2-0!
