Australia registered another series sweep this summer as New Zealand crumbled at the SCG in the third Test.
Chasing 416, New Zealand made 9-128 w🔯ith Nathan Lyon taking another five-wicket haul and 10 for the match.
Matt Henry didn’t come out to bat due to his broken thumb.
New Zealand’s second last wicket, Todd Astle, fell to a stunning outfield catch from James Pattinson that former Australian cricketer Shane Warne described as “one of the best outfields catches you will ever see” while commentating for Fox Cricket.
Earlier, Marnus Labuschagne finished the series with 549 runs, taking his run tally for the summer to 896 – at an incredible average of 112.

10 – Only Bob Holland (10/174 in November 1985) has taken more wickets for in a men's Test match at the Sydney Cricket Ground against New Zealand than Nathan Lyon's nine so far in this match. Outstanding.
