The left-handed batsman is currently a part of New Zealand A team, which is taking on the challenge of India A side in the three-match unofficial ODI, and two-match unoffici𒁏al Test series.
During the seco𒐪nd unofficial ODI game, Neesham got retired-hurt after he attempted a r𒉰everse sweep, but the ball ended up hitting his face.

Later after the game, Neesham posted a picture on social media showing the cut on his face. As usual, the 29-year-old captioned the post๊ in his own exceptional way.

In the match, New Zealand posted 295-7 with George Worker s💞mashing 135 and Cole McConchie 55. Neesham played a handy knock of 31-ball 33. In reply, India only managed to score 266-9 and lost the contest🎉 by 29 runs.
