AB de Villiers may have retired from international cricket. Still, he managed to pull off one of his fantastic🃏 shots during a T20 encounter between Nelson Mandela Bay Giants and Tshwane Spartans in the ongoing Mzansi Super League (MSL).
Playing for the Spartans, de Villiers was their highest scorer, with 63 runs off 38 balls. During his kno𝔉ck, the 35-year-old batsman scored freely around the ground. It is worth mentioning that his best shot came in the same over in which he got out.
On the third delivery of the 18th over, de Villiers went down on one knee to play a reverse sweep off Giants’ speedster Junior Dala. Having hit the ball precisely over the wicket-keeper’s head, ABD got four deserving runs for his innovative shot.
