IPL 2020 Auction: List of players with highest base prices announced

The big auction day is almost near as the Indian Premier League franchises are busy trying to zer♑o in on the players they would want to go after on December 19.

A long list of players has been released, and that will make for an exciting round of bidding at the auction. The most importaꦉnt thing to keep in mind for all the eight franchises would be to know how much they want to spend on a particular player, and it is these permutations and combinations that make the IPL auction such a fascinating draw for cricket fans.

For the IPL 2020 auction, Australia’s Glenn Maxwell and Pat Cummins have listed their base price at the maximum of INR 2 crore (USD 279,000 approx). Fellow Australian Mitchell Starc, the highest wicket-taker in the last two ODI World Cups, was the notable absentee, as was England’s Test skipper Joe Root, among the 971 names to have registered for the auction.

Among Ind🎃ian players, Robin Uthappa has liste🐬d his base price at INR 1.5 crore (USD 209,000 approx).

Meanwhile, England’s Tom Banton, who recently made his international debut and was later in action in the T10 league, has entered the IPL auction pool for the first time. The 21-year-old has listed his base price at INR 1 crore (USD 139,500 approx).
