Former Pakistan captཧain Wasim Akram came down hard on the Pakistan team after seeing their fielding blunders in the ongoing Pink ball Test against Australia at the Adelaide Oval.
Akram was left fuming at what he saw from the Pakistani fielders on Day 1 with the hosts once again gaining an upper hꦦand after a domꦉinating performance with the bat in their first innings.
Australia scored 302/1 at stumps on the opᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚening day with David Warner and Marnus Labuschagne taking the Pakistan bowlers to the cleaners with their twin tons.
Akram was particularly unimpressed with Shaheen Afridi’s fielding effort with the fast bowler gifting four extra runs to the Aussies with an overthrow in the 24th over of the first innings.

“Shaheen Shah was in la-la land at fine leg,” Wasim Akram, who is on commentary duty for the series, said.
“Yasir Shah and Shan Masood were probably yawning. That’s the problem with Pakistan cricket. They should be on the ball.
“Nobody was backing up and you as a fielder, it doesn’t matter how inexperienced you are, you set yourself, new batsman in, they just came out, I’ll probably start five-ten yards inside the boundary line not on the boundary,” Akram added.
Warner continued the rich vein of home form on Day 2 in Adelaide as he brough💞t up his second Test double-hundred off 260 balls with a single on the leg-side.
