WATCH: Murali Vijay bats left-handed while facing Ravichandran Ashwin in TNPL 2019

Murali Vijay might just have stolen the tag of the most unpredictable cricketer from Ravichandran Ashwin by batting left-handed against his former India teammate during 💧a👍 T20 match in the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2019.

It is often seen that a player tries to switch stance in the middle of delivery but Vijay took it🀅 a notch further as he stood in a left-handed stance against Ashwin before the ball was bowled.

Vijay batted left-handed in the 16th over and even managed to get a single with an inside edge. He again🐻 batted left-handed and tried to take another single with a clean hit to long-on. But the umpire signaled a no-ball and with a free hit on offer, Vijay opted not to take the sin🌄gle.

However, Vijay returned to his tradition right-handed stance on the free hit and smashed a six on t꧅he bowliꦓng of Ashwin.

Here’s the video:

Vijay was eventually dismissed in the 20th over on 99, as the Ruby Trichy Warriors put up 178/3 in 20 overs. Dindigul Dragons chased down the target with five balls to spare, with their sta🃏r per𝐆former being N Jagadeesan (105).

Vijay has been in tremendous form in the ongoing TNPL – with scores of 81 (56), 78 (66) and 99 (62) so far.
