Dravid, who is currently the head of the National Cricket Academy’s Cricket Operations, was recently sent a notice from BCCI’s Ombudsman-cum-Ethics Officer Justice (Retd) DK Jain.
A complaint from Madhya Prades𝄹h Cricket Association (MPCA) life member Sanjeev Gupta, initiated this.
As per Gupta’s complaint, Dravid was allegedly conflicted as he was dually employed as the NCA Director and the Vice-President of India Cements group that owns the IPL franchise – Chennai Super Kings.
“Yes, I have sent a notice to Mr. Rahul Dravid last week after receiving a complaint. He has been given two weeks to reply to the allegations of Conflict of Interest. Based on his reply, I will decide whether to proceed further or not,” Justice Jain told PTI.
Earlier, Gupta had also filed similar Conflict of Interest complaints agains𒉰t Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman. At that time, they were serving as both Cricket Advisory Committee members as well as mentors of Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad respecti📖vely.
Ganguly himself faced Conflict of Interest allegations 𝓡posed by a certain Bhas▨wati Santua, for his dual role as the CAB president as well as the mentor of Delhi Capitals.
