Mohammad Shahzad rejects allegation of destroying his Afghan passport after suspension

Mohammad Shahzad was recently suspended for a year by the Afgh👍anistan Cricket Board (ACB). It was the discipline committee of the Board that gave him the harsh punishment for breaching some code of conduct. However, they did not provide further♔ details.

During the 2019 World Cup, he played a few games after which he was ruled out midway supposedly due to an injury. Not happy with the unfair decision, a frustrated Shahzad said that he was fulღly fit to play.

The wicketkeeper-batsman revealed that there was immense politics involved in sending him back home. According to him, only the skipper Gulbadin Naib, the coach and the manager knew about his sudde🍰n omission. The remaining members of the team were shocked. Feeling cheated, Shahzad accused some board officials of conspiring against him.

Afghanistan will play a one-off Test against Bangla♚des✨h in Chattogram next month.

On the other hand, the right-hander would be looking to get into ཧthe team for the T20 World Cup in Australia next year.

Me🎶anwhile, the social media was abuzz with rumours that he had taken a massive step post his suspension.

Several people blamed the 31-year-old for ruining his own career by tearing his passport apart. This incident 🔯caused him to release a video, where he showed both his expired and new Afghan passport.
