Sout🉐h Africa star Hashim Amla announced his retirement from international cricket on Thursday, brin🔥ging a close to one of the greatest batsmen of the modern era.
He will continue to be available for domestic🍸 cricket as well as the Mzansi Super League (MSL).
Amla’s retirement is the second major blow to the Proteas this week, following Dale Steyn’s retirement from Test cricket.
The 𓄧36-year-old amassed 9,282 ru🎉ns at an average of 46.64 in 124 Test matches and 8,113 at 49.46 in 181 ODIs.
He slammed 28 centuries in Tests and 27 in ODIs. His Test tally includꦗed four doub🍌le centuries.
