Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is enjoying his game. One can tell, with the phenomenal bowling figures from his stint in English county cricket this year. Back home now for the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL), he has managed to keep the momentum going.
Recently, he was sಞeen bowling with rather unique action.
Ashwin, bowling the 20th over of the innings against defending champions Madurai Panthers, hid the ball behind his back and then just loop🧸ed it towards the batsman without giving him any sort of pace. The batsman tried to hit it down the ground but ended up hitting straight to the fielder.
The 32-year-old plays for the Dindigul Dragons and was seen trying something similar in the previous game as well but then he didn’t pick a wicket.
He deliꦍvered the ball without a full action as his non-bowling arm remained unmoved and he completed the run-up by releasing the ball on his left foot.
