Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed missed out on completing a hundred, thanks to England’s wicket-keeper Jos Buttler who in his unconventional style sent the former back to the hut on 97 in the fifth and final ODI at Headingley on Sunday.
In the 32nd over of Pakistan’s innings, Sarfraz tried to guide a Moeen Ali delivery towards the third man. Almost in a reflex action, Buttler stopped the ball by lifting his right leg, much like veteran keeper MS Dhoni can be seen during India matches and in the IPL.
Sarfraz started to run for a single and failed to get his bat back into the crease when he realised that the ball was in Buttler’s hands.
The English wicket-keeper was quick enough t🍰o pick up the ball and dislodge the bails off in a flash.
Sarfaraz’s dismissal hurt Pakistan’s chances to come anywhere near the mammoth total of 351 as they were bundled out for 297 in 46.5 overs.

What was that 👏
