IPL 2019 – WATCH: Imran Tahir starts his trademark celebration even before MS Dhoni stumps Shubman Gill (CSK vs KKR)

One of the weirdest things happened in the history of cricket on Tuesday. During a match between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, South Africa veteran Imran Tahir, who is a member of team CSK in ꧂ꦏthe ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL), started his trademark running celebration even before he got a wicket.

It all happened in the 11th over of first innings when Tahir was bowling to KKR batsman Shubman Gill. Knight Riders were five wickets down and under pressure, Tahir bowled a googly which Gill could not judge, the ball beat his inside edge and went into MS Dhoni’s hands.

Everybody knows MSD doesn’t miss one, even before Dhoni removed the bails, Tahir was seen celebrating.

The commentators took notice of it too and in the post-match interview, Dhoni was asked a question about the incident to which he replied, “I think he (Tahir) trusts me.” Classic Dhoni, always has a humorous answer to such queries.

As far as the result of the match is concerned, CSK registered an easy win over KKR to go right on top of the points table.
