If age is just a number th✱en there is absolutely little denying that New Zealand veteran B🍸rendon McCullum is one of the few stars in the world cricket now who prove it right.
McCullum nearl🍌y pulled off an absolute one-handed blinder on Saturday while playing for Brisbane Heat against Perth Scorchers in the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL 08). The 37-year old nearly had everyone gasping for breath with his cat-like move near the boundary rope.
It was in the 14th over of the first innings in Perth when Mitchell Marsh hit a Josh Lalor delivery towards McCullum, who was fielding at lon🧜g-off.
McCullum flew off the ground and clasped the white leather in his right mit, and it 💫looked like🐠 he had taken the screamer.
But when he landed the ball bounced out.
Heat’s captain Chris Lynn while speaking to Fox Cricket said McCullum had blamed the stadium lights in his eyes for the spill.
Also, commentator Mel Jones reckoned it could have been the “catch of the century.”
