India made a superb start on Day 2 of the Adelaide Test as their speedster Ishant Sharma sent the Australian opener Aaron Finch’s middle and off stump cart-wheeling in the very first over.
H🥃aving seen the Aussie🦹 pacers run riot with the new ball on Day 1 against India, it was the start of a redemption for skipper Virat Kohli who looked absolutely jubilant as he celebrated an early success in the form of Finch.
After India were bowled out for 250, with Mohammad Shami being dismissed on the first delivery of the day by Josh Hazlewood. It looked like t♕he worst start that the visitors could get off to on the second day but Ishant proved that Indian pacers are just as good in getting the ball to move on seam-friendly Australian pitches.
On just the third delivery of the Australian innings, Ishant got an excellent seam movement from the pitch. The ball drifted inwards after pitching on, going through the gap between Finch’s bat and pad as he attempted an audacious drive. A little inside edge and the ball took out the stumps, sending them cart-wheeling.
Here’s the video:
