After the rude wake-up call of going unsold in the first round ဣof the 2019 IPL auction in Jaipur on Tuesday, India veteran Yuvraj Singh finally found a team for the 12th season of the I🧔ndian Premier League (IPL) with Mumbai Indians (IPL) buying him for Rs 1 crore in round 2.
“If you are wondering why this took time…we’ve just got back to senses! Welcome to Mumbai,” tweeted MI.

Yuvraj secured a last-minute deal but his IPL fortunes have been declining rapidly. After fetching a record price of Rs 16 crore at the 2015 IPL auction, the 37-year-old’s price dipped to Rs 7 crore in 2016 when he was snapped up by Sunrisers Hyderabad.
He was bought at his base price of Rs 2 crore during January’s auction earlier this year by Kings XI Punjab. The dashing all-rounder was eventually released by the Punjab-based franchise in the lead up to the recently-concluded auction.

Yuvraj Singh should consider himself lucky.
Fans would be delighted to see him on the field, but purely on merit he could've been passed.
Mumbai Indians is a good home.
